I honestly had the time of my life, I spent five weeks at the Teaching and Community Work in Goa project and I absolutely loved it from the bottom of my heart. Through this program I fell in love with India and ended up staying for two more months traveling around and seeing more of the country.
To be honest, I was a bit scared when I first left my country to volunteer in India, but the minute I got picked up from the airport by one of the coordinators it was amazing. I have nothing but positive things to say about this program and volunteering in India and recommend it to anyone. It is a wonderful program and a beautiful country.
A student, Muskan, wanted to learn how to make a Christmas card for her mom, so I taught her. Her mother loved it. During a weekend off I traveled to Hampi, India. Volunteering in India was an amazing time in my life.
