Volunteer in Canada

From the thundering Niagara Falls to its pristine lakes, Canada is a country known for its beautiful landscapes. It is the second biggest country in the world, and although most often seen as a tourist destination, Canada has plenty of space for excellent volunteering opportunities. With Canada’s endless wilderness, there is a vast variety of volunteering projects focused on wildlife and environmental issues. Canada with it’s outdoorsman culture,  is a country that truly knows how to embrace and protect it’s magnificent nature. That being said, Canada is also home to social volunteering opportunities, many of which focus on working in indigenous people’s communities. Other social volunteering projects in Canada take place in more urban areas, including major cities such as Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto and more. As with all large cities in the world, these cities are home to charities that work to improve the living conditions in these urban environments for those in need.
